Jacob Kiplimo’s triumphant defense of his world cross-country title in Belgrade has cemented Uganda’s dominance in the senior men’s race, marking the third consecutive victory for the nation. Kiplimo’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, finishing the 10km race in 28 minutes and 9 seconds, showcasing his remarkable endurance and speed.

This victory places Kiplimo in an elite group, becoming only the fourth man to secure back-to-back senior men’s titles at the World Cross Country Championships, joining the ranks of legends like Kenenisa Bekele, Geoffrey Kamworor, and Paul Tergat.
