Several lives have been tragically lost in an accident near Mpologoma Swamp along the Tirinyi–Budaka–Mbale road.
Police and local authorities are currently on the scene, working in tandem to rescue survivors and recover the bodies.
The deceased are being transported to mortuaries in either Mbale or Tirinyi.
