Early on the morning of Tuesday, 6th May 2025, Alfa Timez, real name Alpha Kato Jingo Hussein, revealed that he had quit Galaxy FM via posts on his social media pages.

In his revelations, the media personality thanked the Kansanga-based media station for giving him a platform to showcase his abilities for three years.

With a thankful heart, I say goodbye to the Zzina family ( @GalaxyFMUg & @GalaxyTVUg ). From the radio mic to the TV screen — it’s been 3 great years of growth, fun and connection. Thank you for walking with me. Once a muzzinyi, always a muzzinyi.
