Arriving in the UAE capital for this high-profile event, President Museveni was welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, signaling the importance of the discussions to follow. He also touched upon Uganda’s agricultural innovations, which aim to increase productivity while reducing the carbon footprint. “We are empowering our farmers with knowledge and technology to ensure food security while preserving our natural resources,” he added.
