LOS ANGELES, CA – In a series of shocking and controversial posts on X (formerly known as Twitter), rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, unleashed an overnight tirade filled with antisemitic remarks, praise for Adolf Hitler, and personal attacks on several public figures, including his own wife, Bianca Censori, and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The rant, which spanned from Thursday evening into the early hours of Friday, February 7, 2025, was characterized by its all-caps format, showcasing West’s unfiltered thoughts to his millions of followers. Among the most disturbing content were his declarations of love for Hitler, with posts like “I LOVE HITLER” and claims that “Hitler was sooooo fresh.” These statements led to immediate condemnation from various advocacy groups, including the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the American Jewish Committee.

Jonathan A. Greenblatt, CEO of the ADL, released a statement condemning West’s behavior, describing it as “Another egregious display of antisemitism, racism, and misogyny from Ye on his X account this morning.” The ADL highlighted the dangerous implications of such rhetoric, especially given West’s significant influence on social media.

In addition to his antisemitic outbursts, West made headlines for his personal assertions, claiming “dominion” over his wife, Bianca Censori, in response to criticism regarding her nearly nude appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards. He defended his actions by stating, “I HAVE DOMINION OVER MY WIFE,” and criticized those who questioned their relationship dynamics.

West also took aim at Elon Musk, accusing him of “stealing his Nazi swag,” a bizarre claim that added to the night’s series of inflammatory posts. Moreover, he called for the release of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently imprisoned on charges related to sex trafficking, by tweeting “FREE PUFF” and urging former President Donald Trump to intervene, showcasing his continued support for Combs amidst his legal troubles.

The reaction from West’s followers and the public was swift, with many expressing disgust and urging for his account to be moderated or banned. Community Notes on X were seen challenging West’s false claims and providing context to his statements, especially those related to historical inaccuracies and hate speech.

Despite the backlash, West’s posts have reignited discussions on the responsibility of social media platforms in moderating content from high-profile individuals and the broader implications of hate speech disseminating through such platforms.

West’s latest X activity comes after a series of controversies related to his public statements and actions. His relationship with various brands and companies has been strained in the past due to similar outbursts, leading to the termination of several high-profile partnerships.

As this story develops, the music and fashion mogul’s influence continues to be a subject of debate, with many questioning the line between free speech and hate speech, especially in the digital age where words can rapidly influence global audiences.
